Command and Leadership in 5. Kp. / GD
5. Kompanie / Grossdeutschland is lead by two separate command groups. During field operations the unit is
lead in authentic military fashion by those with higher rank and command authority, as was our
historic counterpart. Outside of field operations, the unit is lead and managed by a board of directors
in a democratic fashion, known as the Stabskompanie. Any unit member in good standing can apply to be in the Stab.
About Army Group 1944
Army Group 1944 inc. (also known as Heeresgruppe 1944) is a World War II reenacting organization located in the inland
Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana). We reenact all sides of the conflict we now know as the Second
World War. Reenacting forces may include American, British, Soviet, German, Italian and more.
As a group we are dedicated to the education and preservation of history. Our members are amateur historians who collect
militaria, books, firearms, memorabilia and vehicles. We relive that era through themed tactical battles, public
exhibits and displays.
Army Group 1944 follows a strict code of conduct and abides by all laws. We reserve the right to refuse membership to
